What is a syndicate?
A syndicate (or group play) allows you to buy a bigger Lotto ticket by sharing the cost between the members of a group. Playing more games increases your chance of winning.
If the syndicate ticket wins a prize, the total winnings will be divided equally among all of the members of the group.
What is a COMBO Syndicate?
A COMBO syndicate is an individual syndicate designed to meet a price point. The benefit of a COMBO syndicat.e is that it is just for 1 person and includes a BONUS system entry. The winnings do not have to be shared because there is only 1 person in the syndicate.

How to purchase a syndicate share (Overview)
jackpotlotto.com.au makes it easy to buy Lotto syndicates on-line.
For example, if you wish to play PowerBall, click on the blue Thursday POWERBALL button located on the right hand side of the screen, select the next available draw and then choose which syndicate you wish to play. Select the number of shares you wish to purchase, then to complete the transaction go to VIEW TROLLEY at the top right.
Confirm that you have purchased the correct syndicate and then choose CHECKOUT. You will then be asked to confirm that you have read our Terms and Conditions by ticking the box. At this point you will receive a TAX INVOICE by email with an order number for your purchase.
If you have sufficient funds in your account, the purchase is complete and you will receive a PURCHASE CONFIRMATION.
If there are not sufficient funds in your account, you will proceed to the EWAY secure payment gateway and enter your credit card details. Once this has been approved, you will receive a PAYMENT CONFIRMATION from EWAY and a PURCHASE CONFIRMATION from Jackpot Lotto.
You must receive the PURCHASE CONFIRMATION to guarantee your share in the syndicate. If you do not receive this, please contact us immediately at jackpot@jackpotlotto.com.au so that we can investigate.
Must I be an Australian resident to play?
No, you don't have to be an Australian resident.
How will I know if I have won?
You can check under SYNDICATE RESULTS under the LATEST RESULTS tab on the main toolbar. This page summarises winning syndicates for each draw and has a link back to the syndicate to show how the payout has been calculated.
The formula for system payouts is detailed under SYSTEM PRIZE GUIDE.
You can also just select the syndicate you purchased (under past draws once the numbers have been drawn) and the outcome of the syndicate will be detailed.
Any wins will be paid to your individual account and show as winnings from the order number that was allocated to you when you purchased the syndicate.
You can also email us at jackpot@jackpotlotto.com.au if you have any queries about the prizes or are not sure whether you had a win or not.

We endeavour to update our website with results & dividends and pay out all Division 2, 3, 4 and 5 (and Divisions 6 and 7 in Powerball and Oz Lotto) syndicate winnings within 24 hours of receiving the official results.
Any Division 1 prizes will be paid out after the expiration of the claim period which is two weeks after the draw date.
Do I pay tax on my winnings?
No tax is levied on winnings in Australia. However, it is the client's responsibility to abide by any relevant tax laws in their jurisdiction.
What is a system?
A system is where we select more than the standard 5 numbers (for Powerball), 6 numbers (for Mon/Wed/Sat Lotto & Pools) or 7 numbers (for OzLotto). For example, a system 7 allows us to pick 7 numbers and a system 8 allows us to pick 8 numbers and so on. The highest amount of numbers you can pick is 20 for a system 20.
The benefit of playing a system is that the entry is equivalent to playing every possible combination of the numbers which increases your chances of winning.
For example, if you are playing a system 8 on Saturday Lotto, your entry is equivalent to all 28 possible combinations of 6 numbers from your 8 selections. The amount of prizes is increased on a system entry. Refer to SYSTEM PRIZE GUIDE for more information.
How are the numbers selected?
The numbers we select for our syndicates are not 'quick picks' (with the exception of Lucky Bingo Star which can only be a quick pick) but are based on past historical information.
For example, it has been very rare to see 6 odd numbers and 2 odd supplementary number drawn for Saturday Lotto. We tend to mix numbers up based on probability, combinations and number distribution.
We have read all the books written by Terry Fisher (a mathematician who specialises in probability and number combinations and who has won a lot of money playing various lotto syndicates) and we use the theories that Terry offers in his books as well as playing some syndicates that he has written.
Do I get a copy of the numbers used in the syndicates?
Each syndicate will have the numbers available directly via the website and a link is also sent in the Item description with the Tax Invoice and Purchase Confirmation. You can choose to copy the numbers from the webpage or just click the link view the numbers.
Have your customers won using your systems?
Yes. Due to our methodical approach to number coverage, our customers have won a number of Division 1 and Division 2 prizes and many Division 3, 4 and 5 prizes.
